The De’Longhi Rivelia Sand EXAM440.55.BX is a compact automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine designed to make exploring, personalising and enjoying freshly brewed coffee effortless. Combining the innovative Bean Switch System, Bean Adapt Technology and automatic LatteCrema Hot milk preparation, it offers a complete selection of coffee and milk-based drinks at the touch of a button.

The innovative Bean Switch System allows you to change coffee beans without emptying the hopper manually. Rivelia includes two interchangeable 250 g bean hoppers, making it easy to alternate between different blends, origins or regular and decaffeinated beans. Its guided Switch Mode can use or remove the remaining beans inside the grinder before the second hopper is installed, helping minimise mixing between varieties.

Bean Adapt Technology helps optimise the preparation settings for the selected beans. It adjusts important parameters such as grinding, coffee dose and brewing temperature according to the chosen bean type and roasting profile, helping achieve balanced extraction and preserve the coffee’s characteristic aromas.

The integrated steel burr grinder grinds the beans immediately before brewing for maximum freshness. With 13 adjustable grinding settings, it can be adapted to different coffee beans and taste preferences. A dedicated compartment also allows pre-ground coffee to be used when required.

A bright 3.5-inch full-touch colour display provides intuitive access to 16 one-touch drinks. Colourful animations and guided instructions simplify drink selection, personalisation, bean switching, cleaning and routine maintenance. The interface learns frequently selected beverages and uses Coffee Routines to suggest suitable drinks at different times of the day.
